On April 21, 2022, Fields of Joy held a fundraising event that had the collaboration and participation of Dr. Coello, a recognized leader in public health, who addressed those present to provide a current overview of the state of mental health of children and youth.
Dr. Coello has an exceptional medical background, first in pediatrics, and then in public health.
She has served in the highest positions of public health as Surgeon General of the United States, being the first woman and the first Hispanic to hold the position. She also had the honor of serving as New York State Health Commissioner.
